Knivskjelodden (71o, 11’, 08’’) - The real northernmost point of Europe.

The track starts from the parking place at E69, ca. 7 km before the North Cape plateau. After 8 km and 2 ½ hours walk, following the track marked with red T’s, you reach the Knivskjelodden. On this latitude the weather can change very fast. Wind and fog can give you an unpleasant surprise even on a sunny day. Therefore, always leave a message in your car where and when you left for a walk. As a souvenir from your visit at the northernmost point of Europe, you are welcome to buy a diploma for Kr. 50, - and a pin for Kr. 35, - at the tourist office or at Nordkapp Camping. The income helps the locals to take care of our artic environment.
