Festivities at North Cape.

Here in the North Cape municipality we like festivals.

Nordkappfestivalen is our local cultural festival. The festival is held in the middle of June. In the period of a week there is a wide ranging programme of activity. We invite you to a cultural menu of music, revue, theatre, expositions and great outdoor experiences. The festival heralds the new summer to North Cape.

The first festival was held in 1956 and marked the opening of the long awaited road to North Cape.

The Nordkapp Filmfestival, founded in 2004, takes place in Honningsvåg in the middle of September. It’s a small, intimate and all inclusive filmfestival.
