Visit the northernmost fishing village in the world! I am happy to invite you to Skarsvåg, one of the small fishing villages at the island of Magerøya , nearby the North Cape ! Here you can meet the fishery population, living and working in a very busy village when the fishing season is here. You will also have the chance to see the fishing boats, a fishery plant, family houses, hotels, camping areas and a public school. You could even try to fish! If you have questions concerning the daily life in the village or about the arts and craft, I will do my best to answer! For those who are interested, there is also a possibility for a special arrangement to visit one of the family houses in the village. You might also take a trip to look at the fishing boats. If you are lucky, you will be there when the fishermen land their fish, and the Julehuset serves fresh king crab every day. In the spring- and summertime there are a lot of reindeer in the area.
