Nordkappmuseet

Nordkappmuseet is a small museum which applies personal contact and nice atmosphere. You find us in the centre of Honningsvåg, a few minutes from the Hurtigruten quay, cruise quay and bus station. We have guided tours in Norwegian, English and German. The exposition has texts in the following languages: Norwegian, English and German. Each year about 10.000 people from all over the world visit the North Cape museum. The North Cape museum presents and documents coastal culture and fish industry in Finnmark County, but it’s also a local museum for the North Cape municipality. The museum presents at least 5 different exhibitions every year. North Cape’s history- and museum team have built up the museum which was opened in 1982. Since 1997 the museum is in the hands of the North Cape municipality.
