About Bruket – Fish Factory
Bruket – Fish Factory is a seafood processing facility located in Nordvågen, just outside Honningsvåg. As part of Nordvågen AS and the Norfra group, the company plays an important role in the local fishing community and coastal economy. Much of the fish and king crab served in restaurants and homes in the region is sourced through Bruket, connecting the surrounding waters directly to the dining table.
Visitors can join guided tours that provide an inside look at modern seafood production. The tour follows the process from the arrival of fresh catch to ready-for-export products, with explanations of methods, quality routines, and seasonal variations. Guests also learn about the history of stockfish and see live king crab in the facility’s aquarium.
The visit ends with a small tasting, offering a simple and authentic way to experience Arctic seafood traditions.
