About Ocean Stories
Ocean Stories is a new exhibition centre in Honningsvåg, showcasing the marine environment, coastal heritage, and sustainable aquaculture in the Arctic. The centre highlights responsible seafood production and local ties to the ocean. Ocean Stories is part of Grieg Seafood and is certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), ensuring high standards for sustainability and fish welfare.
The centre is fully wheelchair-friendly, with step-free access throughout.
Visitors can learn about the sea as a food source, the effects of climate change on marine life, and how coastal communities live and work with the ocean. Ocean Stories offers an engaging and meaningful experience – blending science, culture, and storytelling where sea and land meet.
