As nights return, the northern lights appear again — while outdoor adventures remain easy and inviting.
Autumn brings crisp air, warm colors in the landscape, and gradually lengthening nights. As darkness returns, the northern lights begin to appear, often dancing above mountains, coastline and open tundra.
The season is still gentle and easy to explore – hiking trails, viewpoints and coastal paths are at their most colorful. And as October turns into November, the first snow often settles lightly on the mountain tops, adding bright highlights to the warm autumn tones.
Aurora Autumn is a time of soft transitions, shifting skies, and a balance of daylight and starlight.
